Faculty & Staff
ISEEES is directed by Yuri Slezkine, professor of history. Nearly 50 faculty members from more than a dozen academic departments and professional schools are affiliated with ISEEES. A team of academic and administrative staff are responsible for the daily operation of the Institute and its programs. During the academic year, Berkeley hosts a number of visiting professors and scholars who specialize in our region. Together, these groups form a close-knit community of scholarship and research.
