in 1958
Ava Bond taught first grade after the retirement of Lillian Engelsen
in 1955. Bond remained through 1957-1958. In 1959 or 1960 she
appears in the Education Department at Edinboro College (Pennsylvania),
where she taught until about 1964; her husband, George Bond, was in the
English Department and had earned his Ph.D. at the University of Michigan
(so reports Debbie Henderson). The stay at Edinboro is confirmed
by correspondence with Dave Obringer
Archivist (at Edinboro College).
