Ethel Praeger in 1948
PTA Handbook, 1965-1966 lists Miss Praeger as retired and living at 218 E. High. She died on June 14, 1985 at the age of 88, having been born on May 8, 1897. Her obituary appeared in the Mt. Pleasant Morning Sun twice, one June 17 and 18, 1985, p. 2 cols. 3-4. per the Clarke Library obituary file. A photograph of her house on High Street is below.
