Miss Thiers in 1958
PTA Handbook, 1965-1966 lists Mrs. Thiers as retired and living at 815 S. College. She died on April 14, 1974 at the age of 75, having been born on December 22, 1898. Her obituary appeared in the Mt. Pleasant Daily Times-News on April 15, 1974, p. 5 col.2, per the Clarke Library obituary file. A photograph of the house she lived in on College Avenue (a.k.a. University Avenue) is below.
