Upper-Division Coursework and Culture

1:00pm-3:00pm  3 LeConte Hall

What’s it like to be an upper-division physical sciences major at Cal?  Find out in this panel discussion.  We’ll talk about how to do well in more difficult classes and labs, discover where to get help when necessary, and hear words of wisdom from professors, GSI's, and students who’ve been there.

Research: Finding It,
Doing It, Finishing It

Research experience is an important part of a physics, astronomy or EPS major’s education. This workshop will cover research opportunities available to Cal students, how and when to seek out an adviser or lab, and what to do once your project is well underway.
