Buc's Daphnis (1605)
Inscribed copies of this publication cannot be counted as part of
Buc's personal library because in at least two cases he inscribed
volumes as a prelude to giving them away to his patrons. The third
volume listed includes a textual emendation in Buc's hand,
but not a dedication.

Lord Ellesmere (Kincaid says this is the Folger copy, but it is
the Huntington copy; photo in Greg, fig. V)

British Library G.11553 (Grenville copy): Dedication inscription
to Henry Howard, earl of Northampton (photo in Eccles, opp. p.
456); pen corrections: diaeresis, Hertford changed to Hereford,
datus to datur, paying special attention to double letters;
correction of 1602 to 1605 on engraved genealogical tree.
