[9] Mary Howson wife of Iames Howson of the p{ar}ishe of St Clement Danes w{i}thout Temple Barre London Sadler aged 65 yeares or therabout{es} sworne and exam{ined} the 6 of Iune in the yeare aforesayd

2, 1 That she knoweth the parties the Compl{ainan}t and the def{endan}t, and she did well know W{illia}m Ruswell the Compl{ainan}t{es} late husband deceased, and she remembreth that he was of very [great] \\good// creditt and accounte for a tyme and kept a dosen or 16 men at worke, and might have taken vp wares vpon his credite in this Citty and was servant and Tayler to the def{endan}t, and ^\\Maynard Buckwaye// this dep{onen}t{es} ^\\former// husband, beinge then the sayd W{illia}m Ruswell{es} neighbour, and keepinge a linnen drapers shopp, did give him creditt ^\\dyvers tymes// for such wares as he sold [divers tymes], as all kindes of Linnen clothe, holland, and canvas, and [she] as she taketh it the same was all taken vp for the def{endan}t and for his vse, and the sayd W{illia}m Ruswell payde this dep{onen}t{es} husband very truly and honestly from tyme to tyme till att the last, he brake, and left himselfe 64li in this dep{onen}t{es} husband{es} debt for such wares so taken vp as is aforesaid, But what wares or other stuffe [she] \\he// tooke vp of other men in the Citty she knoweth not /

3, 4, 5 She can say nothinge certen or materiall, nor more deposeth in this matter
