Welcome!
The research in our lab explores how infants and children think, reason, and learn about the world around them, with an emphasis on the development of children's language and conceptual abilities. Some of our current interests include:
- How children learn new words and concepts
- Social reasoning in infants and toddlers
- The cues infants use to learn about objects
- Children's and adults' notions of artifact functions
- The development of basic economic behaviors
- Knowledge of linguistic and social conventions
If you're a parent interested in participating in one of our studies with your child, you can sign up to participate online, or by calling or emailing us. For more information, you can also visit our Information for Parents page.
