EVALUATION RESOURCE CENTERS AND CLEARINGHOUSES

The Center for Effective Philanthropy (CEP)
The CEP provides tools for defining, assessing and improving the performance of foundations. The site provides access to publications and assessment tools.

Digital Resources for Evaluators
This site offers an abundance of resources, tools, training/education, and job links for evaluators.

Ericae.net Clearinghouse
A clearinghouse for assessment, evaluation and research information.

The Evaluation Center
Housed in Western Michigan University, the Evaluation Center’s mission is to advance the theory, practice, and utilization of evaluation. The site has a large clearinghouse of evaluation tools, checklists, publications, and other resources.

Online Evaluation Resource Library (OERL)
The OERL provides resources for professionals engaged in project evaluation. The site includes professional development tools as well as examples of project evaluations.

Outreach Evaluation Research Center (OERC)
The OERC builds capacity for health information outreach evaluation in the National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NN/LM).

American Evaluation Association
The American Evaluation Association is an international professional association of evaluators. The Website provides access to publications, training, conferences, trainings, and other evaluation resources.

San Francisco Bay Area Evaluators
A Bay Area professional evaluation association open to anyone with an interest in evaluation.

The Center for Advancement of Community Based Public Health
An Evaluation Framework for Community Health Programs (2000)
This paper presents a framework for evaluating community health programs based on the Framework for Program Evaluation in Public Health (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and the Community Tool Box: A Framework for Program Evaluation (University of Kansas).

Framework for Program Evaluation in Public Health
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Framework for Program Evaluation in Public Health. MMWR Recommendations and Reports, September 17, 1999 (RR11); 1-40. This report provides steps and standards for evaluating public health programs.

W.K. Kellogg Foundation Evaluation Toolkit
The Evaluation Toolkit includes the WK Kellogg Foundation Evaluation Handbook and Logic Model Development Guide. Both of these guides can be ordered for free on the Website. The Website includes additional resources such as evaluation checklists and suggestions for evaluation planning and implementation.

National Network of Libraries of Medicine
Planning and Evaluating Health Information Outreach Projects Booklets (2006)
The evaluation booklets present step-by-step planning and evaluation methods, case studies, and worksheets for evaluation planning.

The United Way
Outcome Measurement Resource Network
The Resource Network offers information, tools, reports, and links to resources related to the identification and measurement of program- and community-level outcomes.
