We will study selected examples of Heidegger‰s writings after he abandoned the "transcendental hermeneutics" of Being and Time and attempted, instead, to think through the history of Western understandings of being. We will focus especially on Heidegger‰s account of the relation between truth, historical practices, cultural paradigms, language, technology, and nihilism.
