THREE TIDDS OF 1637 There is a group of about 20 of us TIDD researchers who have distilled the following information. Believe it or not, Savage, Pope, Wyman and Cutter made mistakes. There were 3 John Tidds who arrived in the MA Bay Colony in approximately 1637. They have gotten a bit mixed up. None of them appear to have been born in Yarmouth, Isle of Wight. That was the reputed point of departure for one of them. To say that he was born there would be like saying we were born at LaGuardia, NY since we left from there.
