This is an upper division class. In order to enroll for this class, you should have either junior status, or have taken at least two lower division philosophy courses.

Sections and Lectures:

Section preference cards should be filled in and handed in today at the end of the first class. Section meetings will begin the week of January 28. Section attendance is required to receive a grade. GSIs are not required to grade papers of students who have missed two or more sections.

Course Requirements

This is an upper division philosophy class. There will be four papers, 3 pages in length, and a final three-hour exam. In order to pass the course, you must write all four papers and the final exam. The papers count for 60% of your grade, and the final counts for 40%. Late papers are not accepted. There is a general policy against giving incompletes in this class.
