GETTING CONTROL OF “COOKIES”
If you are concerned about privacy and the kind of information that is stored about you by Web sites that you visit, use your browser to get control of “cookies”. Both Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer allow you to block all “cookies”.
To find out if you have been sent “cookies”, look in your browser’s subdirectory, locate a folder that contains a “cookie” file. It will be a text (txt.) file.
To block “cookies” or to receive a warning when a “cookie” is being sent, go to your browser and alter your preferences.
