It is very sad news to me that Prof.
Clark died on Feb.14th, who had been a wonderful mentor since I
met him in 1981.
It is a profound loss for world prehistoric archaeology and Paleoanthropology.
He was the most extensive walking encyclopedia of world archaeology
that I ever knew, and will remain a legend forever. Many Korean
archaeologists still remember his stimulating contribution for Korean
Paleolithic archaeology when he visited Korea twice in early 1980s
and early 1990s. He left a big footstep in even the other end of
the Afroeurasian continent. I believe his archaeological spirit
be vital in every archaeologist in all continents.
