Dear Colleagues and family of Desmond Clark,

We have just heard the terrible loss of this great student of the World Prehistory. We offer his family our deepest sympathy.
We all had a great admiration for Desmond and we hope you will find some slight consolation in the knowledge that Desmond will be with us through his papers and work enlightening our way to Science. All in Anaximandrian Institute of Human Evolution feel that they have lost a real friend.
