Francesca Fortenbaugh: My research looks at how the distribution of attention and changes in visual field size affect where objects are perceived to be in the environment. Currently I am running behavioral studies that look at these factors in individuals with normal or corrected-to-normal vision (i.e. contact lenses are okay). For more information, please feel free to contact me at:Bryan Alvarez: I am fascinated by the dance of information in the brain, especially for those who experience unique multisensory blendings called synesthesia. A synesthete might have purple 3's, feel music on her skin, have personalities for numbers, or any of several dozen different blended experiences. If you think you are a synesthete, visit www.synesthete.org and fill out the online survey. Send your information to my email address (below) when prompted.
