Places to go, people to see.
::ego rant::
I've set the shallow, egotistical goal of visiting 100 countries before I die. My recent trip to Argentina puts me at 32 in 30 years (33 after going to Cameroon this summer), and helps with my geographic coverage:

Not too shabby and more than any 30 year-old I happen to know, but *damn* I'll have to keep things going at a 2/year pace for 34 year to reach 100 at 64! Wow! Yikes! 64...
My life situation for the next number of years may complicate things, too. Maybe if we go to Argnetina again next year, I can squeek off two - Chile and Uruguay - that I missed this last time around. A trip to Turkey and Greece is imminent, and hopefully I can make that trip to Estonia, Russia, Finland trip I've been thinking about for a while. Luckily there's a lot of Balkans states nowadays - thank you Velvet Revolution! (or whatever else triggered the fall of Communism in Eastern Europe and the eventual balkanization of ... well... the Balkans) - that I can pick off someday, though I can't imagine ever having Slovenia at the top of my list...

There are strategic parts of SE Asia too... Singapore/Malaysia/Indonesia/etc for instance.
And if you're going to Turkey and Greece Bulgaria's close by.
Not sure whereabouts you got to in Argentina but Iguacu falls is at the fantastic intersection of Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil. Likewise you can visit Chile, Bolivia and Peru just at the very top of Chile near Arica. But I agree you really need to get to those high density areas...you could do worse than parts of the Caribbean.
And the Caprivi strip will get you Angola, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana pretty easily. Watch out for the land mines though.
If I'm really industrious, I can easily get to Nigeria and Chad from where I'll be in the northern extremes of Cameroon. If only I didn't have all that darn _fieldwork_ to do.
