Basic Semiconductor Circuits Supplementary Material

Supplementary material is available for some of the laboratories. Some of the supplements use Mathcad, a scientific and engineering worksheet manipulation program. Mathcad performs numeric and basic symbolic manipulations and has a very easy to use interface. For most applications it is better than Maple, Macsyma, and Mathematica, and we strongly recommend it.

Lab 1: QDemo Program  A WinXP LabView program for Q of circuits.

Lab 1: XYZ's of scopes  A PDF file introducing how to use oscilloscopes.

Lab 2: Fourier Synthesizer  A W98, Win2K, or WinXP standalone fourier synthesizer that plays over the computer sound card.

Lab 3: Diode IV Characteristic, Convergent and Non-Convergent iteration.

Lab 8: Op Amp Compensation, Differentiator Stability

Lab 8: Noise Generator  A W98, Win2K, or WinXP standalone noise generator, capable of producing white, shot, 1/f and 60Hz noise,  that plays over the computer sound card.
