Image of the Week

Experience and education applied hand in hand.
Traditional and digital media combined to enhance,
and advance the educational and design experience.

The past 20+ years have mostly found me as the photographer in the Department of Architecture's Architecture Visual Resources Library (AVRL), at the University of California, Berkeley, CA. Traveling through the years from photographic technician to Senior Photographer.

Today as Principal Photographer I am responsible for all imaging and image production used in the Architecture Visual Resources Library's collections and online image database, known as S.P.I.R.O. (Slide & Photograph Image Retrieval Online). I work closely with the Acting Curator of the Architecture Visual Resources Library and members of the University's Museum Informatics Project (MIP) team developing and implementing designs and standards for S.P.I.R.O.

Throughout this time I have been freelancing photography and image services to a variety of academic and design professionals.
