NOMINATIONS FOR SOCIAL WELFARE ALUMNI OF THE YEAR AWARD, 2007

The Social Welfare Alumni Association is accepting nominations for the 2007 Alumni of the Year Award until February 22, 2007. Award winners will be honored at the Annual Dinner Meeting on April 20, 2007.

Eligibility: Nominees must have a Credential, BA, MSW, DSW, or Ph.D. degree from the School of Social Welfare.

Criteria: Nominees for the Alumni of the Year Award must qualify under one or more of the following categories:

Outstanding professional achievement in the field of social welfare.
Worthy cumulative performance in social work service to the community.
Recent acknowledgement by the community or professional peers.
Demonstrated leadership in service to the School of Social Welfare.

The Selection Committee requires at least one letter of nomination describing the nominee’s special contributions or achievements, plus a biographical sketch.

The selected awardee(s) must be able to attend the Annual Awards Dinner on April 20, 2007 on campus.
