SWPS is a resource for Berkeley undergraduates majoring in the physical sciences
(physics, astronomy, geology, planetary science, and related fields). Our goals are to
encourage women and minorities to major in the physical sciences and to create a
friendly and supportive environment in these departments for all students. SWPS offers workshops, networking opportunities, social activities, outreach projects, and "survival guides" for undergraduate majors. We organize several events each semester, which are usually open to all members of the physical sciences departments.
