Launch Day PPP Star Party LN2 Dinner Lunch

Events occur approximately three times a semester. Please e-mail majordomo@lists.berkeley.edu with 'subscribe swpsundergrad' or 'subscribe swpsgradstudent', as appropriate, in the body of the email to get on our mailing lists and receive announcements of upcoming events.

What's coming up:

  • Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream Social
Take one part cream, add flavoring, and mix with one part liquid nitrogen. And learn a thing or two about the physics involved.
  • Expanding Your Horizons
Expanding Your Horizons is an all day conference for middle school girls. The conference is in late March at Mills College. SWPS prepares a 90 minute workshop for the girls and does it for two different groups. We break up into groups of 3 girls per SWPS volunteer and work through the activity. We participated for the first time in 2004, had a great time and hope to keep doing it.
