Marco
Palacios is a professor in the Latin American history
department at El Colegio de México and
the former Chancellor of the Universidad Nacional.
He has published extensively on issues of violence,
economic history, and populist movement. Professor
Palacios is author of the classic account of Colombian
history, Coffee in Colombia.
