Dr.
Brittain is a Visiting Lecturer at the Graduate School
of Education at UC Berkeley. Her research interests
include immigrant children's adaptation in American
schools, socio-cultural studies in education, and
urban education. She is the author of Transnational
Messages: Experiences of Chinese and Mexican Immigrants
in American Schools.
